Exciting discussions took place during GEO Week and the Ministerial Summit in Cape Town, South Africa. Dr Kawawa Banda of the University of Zambia (a TEMBO Africa project partner) outlined the impact the TEMBO Africa project will have on African citizens’ lives through the use of Flood Early Warning Systems, data and dashboards for hydropower dam reservoir management, and agricultural insurance services.
